One of the many many small pleasures I have had to observe as an instructor are the father’s who go out of their way to learn how to dance, and in turn, get a chance to dance with their daughters at social dance event like the Flying Dance Festival, or at their daughters wedding day. Every year, I get to enjoy getting to know these dads who had never danced before before walking into our studio, and are now they being dance enthusiasts, ambassandor’s to our community. For me as a newer dad, I hear their stories, learn from them, and pray that one day, I also will get an opportunity to dance with my life girl - who isn’t so little any more.

GUELPH MULTICULTURAL FESTIVAL 2024
Join us, June 7th to 9th at the River Side Park

Above is a video from the multicultural festival in 2010. That year, we performed at both the Guelph and the KW festivals, and it was the last time FDComm participated in these wonderful event - we just got busy. This year, we are excited to be back and are looking forward to connecting and dancing with our multicultural community

Performances: 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM! We will be teaching 30-minute line dancing classes through out the afternoon [12:00 PM to 8:00 PM], plus have a special performance from FDComm dancers.

Our booth will be in the market area, so if you have time this weekend,, come visit us at the Guelph Multicultural Festival. We will be there from 12 to 6 pm on Saturday and Sunday.
