The weather this summer has been unpredictable. It’s either too hot (heat-wave last week), or not-just-warm-enough to really enjoy the summer heat. And it’s always very windy these days.

So far, we have canceled Moonlight Dancing officially twice, and been chased by the rain a couple more time because of the lack of shelter [not a great start to our predictable summer outdoor dance season].

On a past newsletter (June 6th ‘24 - The Outdoor Dance Dilemma: The Benefits & Drawbacks of Dancing at Royal City Park), I mentioned that one of the drawbacks of dancing in the square is the lack of protection from the element (rain).

At the same time, an advantage of being at the St George Square location is it’s proximity to the studio - one minute walk.

Now that our progressive group dance lessons are completed for the 2023-2024 dance season, the studio is available on both Tuesday and Thursday evenings. So, anytime we have any kind of threatening weather, please know we will relocate all the Moonlight dancing drop-in lesson and social to the studio, at 16 Wyndham Street North.
