Moonlight Dancing starts next week, May 14th & 16th

In 2024, Moonlight Dancing moves to a new location: St. Georges Square in downtown Guelph. We hosted our first event at the Royal City Park in Guelph in 2004. The event has changed over the many years… its name, what we offer, and now, it’s location.

We are excited to host our drop in lessons and social at a new location - closer to the studio (being closer to the studio is one among several bonuses the new location offers).

Here is a quick Moonlight Dancing History:

• 2004: our first outdoor dancing event at the Royal City Park - One day only
• 2005: named the event: Salsa In The Park | One day only
- I only taught Salsa dancing at that time period
• 2008: renamed the event: Dancing In The Park
- hosted 10 events on a Friday evening
- it became an annual event
- I taught Salsa, Casino Rueda, and Bachata Dancing
• 2010: changed the events day from Friday to Thursday evenings
• 2014: changed the events name to Moonlight Dancing
- added Ballroom dancing to the mix
- added Tuesday evenings
• 2015: coined the current names
- Ballroom Tuesdays
- Latin Thursdays

And now this year, a new location, and a new start time. We look forward to seeing you all on the dance floor. Please share the updated Moonlight Dancing Schedule, cheers!
