Sunday Salsa Practice!
New This Dance Year: Sunday Salsa Practice
• 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM
• Social dancing and meeting new people
I oftenly get asked, “How do I get better in dancing?” “Where can I practice"? My usual answer is our popular weekly drop-in and social dance events on Friday evenings. But over the years of hosting the Friday Night Salsa Fix (FNSF) events, I find that it’s becoming challenging staying up late on a Friday night (we sometimes stay open until 2:00 am).
Well, there are a number of legit reasons why;
1. I am older: FNSF has been running for 12 year now, and counting
2. I have young kiddo’s: nuff said
3. I have more responsibilities as a business owner - FDComm is growing, but that comes with lots and lots of challenges outside of the dance floor
4. Did I mention I was older? Lol!
Quite a few of our students have also mentioned that Friday’s are hard to make it, especially after a long challenging week.
Our group dance packages include one visit to our Friday Night Salsa Fix event. Starting in September 2024, we will be adding an extra bonus, an opportunity for our students (and friends) to do their dance homework, practice the dance moves they learn during class. It’s also a great way to start the week.
